SEATBELT INTERLOCK

The Innosafe Pty Ltd Seatbelt Interlock ensures that the operator's seatbelt is correctly worn before the vehicle can be started or other functions operated. An Anti-Tamper circuit also monitors any attempt to by-pass the sys-tem, as well as monitoring that the operator has correctly applied the seatbelt in the right sequence. 3 incorrect attempts and the LED is activated to notify you of this, but any tampering with the circuit and the LED is immedi-ately activated. The only way to reset this is by the service key.

The Interlock Controller provides up to 3-input methods to ensure the seatbelt is not only correctly fastened, but in the correct order. Basically put, the operator must; Sit on the Seat Extend the Belt Clip the Buckle.

The outputs can be used to control a number of functions, pending what your requirements are. These may be; Vehicle Ignition Hydraulic operations Gear Selection Almost any function that is operated electronically.

The addition of a handbrake input provides a safe method to ensure that not only is the handbrake applied when exiting the vehicle whilst running, but that the seatbelt is again correctly fastened in sequence.

Each kit comes complete with a Control Module, Seat Switch, Handbrake Switch, and cabling. This easily connects to an existing seatbelt buckle switch that may already be installed on your vehicle, and if you don‘t have one, then Innosafe can assist with that as an optional extra.
